Sue Coulter

Sue F. Coulter, 88, of Kilgore, completed her earthy journey on Friday, February 18, 2022, in Kilgore. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. A private family service will be held in the spring.

Sue was born on January 29, 1934, in Columbia, Mississippi. She was a 1952 graduate of Lutcher Stark High School where she was a proud member of the Bengal Guards. Sue retired from DuPont after over thirty years of employment. She married the love of her life Joe Coulter and they spent twenty-nine wonderful years together. Sue enjoyed the outdoors spending time bass fishing and squirrel hunting. She also loved to cook and go to the Boats in Louisiana. Sue was kind and loving and will be missed by many.

She is reunited with her parents, husband, Joe Coulter, sister, Norma Gresham, brother, Lavon Fortenberry, and stepdaughter Lee Ann Coulter.

Left to cherish her memory are her stepdaughters Donna McClendon and husband Harvey McClendon of Kilgore, Jo Lynn Mullen and husband Terry Mullen of Vidor, stepsons, Don Coulter, and wife Jane Coulter of Grove, Ron Coulter and wife Joyce Coulter of Celebration, Florida, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, loving friend Susan King of Hemphill, and other caring friends and family members.
