SCOTT ALAN WASHBURN

Services for Scott Washburn, 44, of Tyler will be 3:00 P.M. Monday, May 20, 2019 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with Rev. Samuel Priddy officiating. Mr. Washburn completed his earthly journey on Monday, May 13, 2019 in Tyler.

Scott was born on September 16, 1974 in Tyler to Roy Washburn and Evelyn Washburn. He was a bow hunting and fishing enthusiast and he loved working on cars, boats and yard work. Scott was able to fix anything, and he enjoyed doing so. Scott’s family was the source of his strength and spending time with them was when he was happiest.

Mr. Washburn is preceded in death by a grandfather; Willian Kirby Washburn and grandparents; Hanson and Rena Dykes.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Roy and Evelyn Washburn of Tyler; sister, Kim Washburn Bush and husband Robert of Tyler; grandmother, Ethel Washburn of Whitehouse. Also, left to carry on his legacy are numerous cousins, friends and other loving family members.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Monday, May 20, 2019, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm prior to the service.
