Rebecca Moore

Services for Rebecca Moore, 92, of Kilgore will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Rader Funeral Home with Reverends David Hampton, Dr. Pete Freeman and Dr. Glenn Young. The burial will follow in Kilgore Cemetery. Mrs. Moore went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, October 28, 2019.

Rebecca was born June 6, 1927 in Rusk County, Texas to Fred and Bernice Broome. She was raised in the Compton Community and graduated from Gaston High School. Rebecca married Jack Moore in 1949. The First Baptist Church of Kilgore was a big part of her life where she was a longtime member and Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Moore enjoyed playing 42, crocheting names, making baby blankets and volunteering with helping hands.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Sandi Moore of Kilgore; two grandchildren, Marci Moore Parker and her husband, Steve of Pittsburg, Texas, Erik Moore and his wife, Samantha of Fort Worth; a niece, Linda Robinson and her husband, Gay of Henderson; a daughter-in-law, Donna Gayle Morgan of Gladewater; three great grandchildren, Kristi McNeely of Noble Oklahoma, Jennifer Hogan of Seattle, Washington, Kaycee Parker of Pittsburg; and numerous friends.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, and son Roger Moore.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home, Saturday from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
