Pauline Jones

Pauline Jones, 86, of Kilgore completed her earthly journey on Monday, December 5, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, at two o’clock at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Kilgore with Reverend Don Nicholson officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from six until eight o’clock in the evening at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.

Pauline was born on April 12, 1936, in Kilgore to Irma DeRamus and Paul Burlison Jones. She proudly graduated from Hobbs High School, Class of 1954. She married the father of her children, Lance and Sheri, in December of 1954. Pauline was the fashion director of The Toggery from 1965 until 1998, where she mentored Still Collum, who later went on to own De Rigueur of Kilgore. She taught fashion design at Kilgore College. Pauline traveled the world throughout her life. Greece, the United Kingdom, and Jerusalem just to name a few. She was a dedicated member of the Republican Round Table form 1980 till 2000, where she met and mingled with many Texas and Congressional Representatives. She will be greatly missed by her fashion colleagues, family, and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her son Lance Lacy and wife Karla Lacy, grandchildren Kenny Pruitt, Ronnie Pruitt, LeAnn Estes, Master Sergeant Preston Dews USAF, (Ret.) and numerous great grandchildren.

Pauline was reunited with Sheri Lacy, Irma DeRamus, Shirley Lacy, Ray Dogget, Betsy Hendricks, Paul Jones, Eugene Jones, and Elaine McCarty.
