Funeral services for Mrs. Nita Kay Attaway, 68, of Kilgore will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 11, 2021, in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore with Reverend David Hampton officiating. Burial will follow at the Hickory Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Mrs. Attaway passed away at her home on Monday, December 6, 2021.

Nita was born on December 18, 1952, in Dickerson, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Otis and Curtis Missildine. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her time spent with her family. She loved spoiling her grandchildren, music, dancing, and golf.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Mrs. Attaway is survived by her husband, Steve Attaway of Kilgore; daughter, Barbara Attaway of Kilgore; son, Buddy Attaway and wife Heather of Troup; grandchildren, Colton Baker and wife Lisa of Gladewater, Blake Attaway, Bryce and Whitley Attaway, Blaine Attaway, and Hailey Attaway all of Troup; sisters, Linda Smith of Longview and Opal Parker of Elkhart; several nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
