Mike Linton

Graveside services for Mike Linton of Kilgore will be held on Monday June 1, 2020 at 2pm at Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home Kilgore. Mr. Linton passed away on May 27, 2020 at his home in Kilgore.

Mike was born in Beckville, Texas. He was a proud WWII veteran having risked his life on the frontlines. He worked as an automechanic for many years. In his spare time, he loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. Mike will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mike is survived by his wife Mary Linton of Kilgore; daughter, Cindy Marmon and husband John of Monett, Missouri; son, Robby Clary and wife Nikki of Larue; grandchildren, Haley Marmon, Ashley Marmon, Chris Clary, Chloe Montrose, Kayla Clary, and Nicholas Peterson; great grandchildren, Diesel, Skylin, Bronc, and Cinch Marmon; sister, Dancel Clark of Kilgore; sister in laws, Patsy Brown, Cassy Miller, and Betty McQueen; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a special thanks to his nephew George Linton and Traditions Hospice for their care of Mike during his illness.

The restrictions currently associated with our society that limit large group gatherings will prevent the family from hosting a traditional visitation and service. In lieu of a family visitation a public viewing and signing of a guest book to comfort the family from a distance will be at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore on Sunday, May 31 from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. The family will be at the chapel from 6pm to 8pm to greet family and friends. Please be conscious of the health of all visitors and staff by limiting the number of guests who enter together and follow health and safety guidelines set forth by the governor.
