Loretta Gay Jenkins Wolf Huff

Funeral services for Mrs. Gay Jenkins Wolf Huff, 83, of Kilgore will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ralph Rudy officiating. Burial will follow at the Waldrop Cemetery near Beckville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Gay passed away on November 2, 2021, after a long illness. She had a wonderful life, spending most of it in Kilgore. She was born in Longview on August 5, 1938, to Vessie Gay and Ada Lee (Bennett) Jenkins.

Gay was a proud member of the Kilgore High School Class of 1956. She attended Kilgore College and was a Rangerette. She received her teaching certificate from Stephen F. Austin State University, and later taught at David Crockett Elementary School.

Gay’s greatest joys were her family, many friends, and love of animals. She enjoyed barrel racing, ranching, gardening, playing cards, reading and travel.

She is survived by her son, Joe Ben Wolf, Jr.; grandchildren, Joe Ben "Trey" Wolf, III and wife Kara, and Emma-Lee Wolf; great-grandchildren Trenton Wolf, Addie Wolf, Trevor Wolf, Mackenzie Oney and Jake Oney; many friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents and former husbands, Joe Ben Wolf and Andy Huff.
