Lorena was born in Mexico, on May 23, 1974 to Jose and Maria Galvan. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Lorena enjoyed spending her time helping her husband with all the side jobs he had to do. She was always on his side. There is no other place she would have loved to be more than right beside her “Amor” DeLuna. She loved taking care of her plants and cooking tamales with her mom. They made a great team. She had a passion for frogs in her garden. All of her six kids, including Nery, were her pride and joy and being with family was always her happy place to be.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Martin; children, Monica DeLuna, Raul Martin Jr., Bertha DeLuna, Carlos DeLuna, Benjamin DeLuna, and Nery Valenzuela; her mother, Maria Galvan of Kilgore; her siblings, Martha Cedillo and her husband Raul, Mally Galvan and her husband Roel, Fidel Galvan and his wife Celenie, Silvia Valenzuela and her husband Ruben, Zeferino Galvan and his wife Mary, Miguel Galvan and his wife Lupita, Mayra Torres and her husband Salvador, Emma Galvan and Rachel Galvan all of Kilgore. Also, left to carry on her legacy are numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other loving family members.
