Linda Carroll Tadlock

Funeral services for Linda Carroll Tadlock, 73, of Kilgore will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Mike Gribble officiating. Burial will follow at the Danville Cemetery. The family will receive friends before the service on Tuesday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Linda passed away at her home in Kilgore on Thursday, May 19, 2022

Linda was born on June 30, 1948, in Kilgore, Texas; daughter to the late Paulene and Sam Tadlock. Linda was a nurse in East Texas for 40 years. She spent her early years working for Gregg Home of the Aged. She also worked for several doctor offices, before finishing her career at Good Shephard Medical Center. She did private sitting after retirement. Linda lived for the Lord, and all of her babies! Babies included both the two legged babies and her four legged babies. She was an avid pet lover. Her grandchildren were her life. Linda was definitely a people person. If you knew her, you loved her. She will be greatly missed, and her memory cherished forever.

Linda is survived by her soulmate of 36 years, Sue Vickers; daughter Linda LeeAnn Kelly (David Young) Kilgore; goddaughter Meleah Brooks Honolulu, HI; grandchildren Tony Smith of Kilgore, Rebecca Smith (Jonathan Franklin Tyler, Staff Sergeant Daniel Howell (Jessica Howell) of Ft. Sill, OK; great grandchildren Haleigh, Khaidyn, Bryce, and Jason; sister Lisa Ware; brothers Rick Vickers, Frank Vickers. Also survived by several close cousins and many friends. Preceded in death by her parents.
