Lee Noah Kent

December 10, 1938 — February 24, 2021

Lee Noah Kent, 82, of Kilgore, Texas passed away on February 24, 2021. He was born on December 10, 1938 to Mary E. Reid Kent and Elmer Lee Kent in Enid, Oklahoma. He attended school in Enid before moving to Kilgore, Texas where he met the love of his life, Virginia Ann Henderson. They married on June 7, 1958 and enjoyed more than 61 years together. Lee worked at Kilgore Ceramics for 41 ½ years. Lee was all about his family, spending time together camping at various lakes around East Texas, hunting, fishing, riding horses and motorcycles.

Lee was proceeded in death by his parents; brothers: Bobbie Webb, Jimmy Webb, and Bruce Webb; sisters: Mildred Kent, Capitola Hyden, Joyette Ulrey, Bonnie Meeker, and O’Linda Jones; and infant son Elmer Victor Kent.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Virginia Kent of Kilgore, Texas; sisters: Evalyn “Evie” Reim and husband Dale, and Ruthie Ging, both of Oklahoma; children: Virginia Lee Ellis and husband Michael of Henderson, Texas, Tony Kent and wife Tina of Big Sandy, Texas, Teresa Cox and husband Larry of Kaufman, Texas, Debra Bender of New London, Texas, and Chris Kent and wife Dee Dee of Pittsburg, Texas; 20 grandchildren, and 39 great grandchildren. He will be missed dearly by numerous extended family and friends.

Services for Lee Kent will be 2:00 pm Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore, Texas with Father Dan Dower officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview, Texas.
