Keith Maples was born on March 27, 1963, in Oklahoma City, OK to Sarah Onita Jones and Burl Cleveland Maples. He was a dedicated husband and father. Keith was a handy man by trade and loved to build things. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, watching westerns and listening to the golden oldies. His source of happiness was his family especially his grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Keith Smith and wife Amber of Jefferson, Jeffrey Smith of Longview, Joe Smith of Longview, and Mattie Bingham and husband Dakota of Longview, siblings, Nettie Erven and husband Danny Erven of Gladewater, Mildred Arbuckle and husband Raymond of Oklahoma City, Van Maples and wife Rebecca of McKinney, Teresa Gray of Dallas and Charlene Gonzalez and wife Randy of McKinney; 22 grandchildren; 2 grand-furbabies; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other loving family members.

He was reunited with his parents, wife Jeanie “Bea” Nichols Maples, daughter Brittnie Bingham, brother JB Maples, and brother-in-law Eugene Nichols, Jr.
