JONADEL HATHCOAT

A Celebration of the Life of Jonadel Hathcoat, 81, of Kilgore, will be held at 2 pm on Friday, March 29, 2019, at Grace Fellowship in Kilgore with Rev. Brian Nutt officiating. Mrs. Hathcoat completed her earthly journey and went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, March 25, 2019 in Kilgore.

Jonadel was born on May 7, 1937, in Perry, to Robert and Emma Lehde. Jonadel was a faithful Christian who loved the Lord with all of her heart. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Kilgore where she served as a board member, Sunday school teacher and shared her talent singing. Jonadel expressed her Christian faith by sharing with others and volunteering for several organizations; Helping Hands of Kilgore, Ladies of Grace Fellowship and the Assembly of God Women’s Ministries. Her family was the source of her strength and spending time with them was when she was happiest. She will be remembered for her compassion, kindness, faithfulness, cooking, laughter and smile.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sheila Miles of Kilgore; grandchildren, Jona Garlow and husband Rocky of Liberty City, Justin Miles and wife Tracey of Longview, April Miles of Overton; great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Taylor, Brooklyn and Hunter Garlow, Wyatt, Micheal and Kitty Miles; brother Melvin Lehde and wife Millie of Pasadena; son-in-law, Allen Miles of Kilgore. Also, left to carry on her legacy are numerous nieces, nephews, church family, friends and other loving family members.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her first husband Donald Robins, son Stanley Robins, second husband Rev. Jack Hathcoat, three sisters and six brothers.
