Jimmy David Wilson

Memorial services for Mr. Jimmy D. Wilson, 80, of Kilgore will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore. Mr. Wilson passed away in a Longview hospital on Friday, December 6, 2019.

Jimmy was born on September 18, 1939 in Kilgore. He was the son of the late Wright and Pearl Bormann Wilson. Jimmy was a hard worker and opened his home to many people. He loved children and fostered several with his late wife Vernice. Jimmy loved helping people and was a skilled woodworker.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his daughter, Susan Wilson Pace of Kilgore; sister, Ann Bass; granddaughter, Kristin Wilson; grandsons, Kevin Wilson, II and Jake Whittington; nephew, Ronald Wilson and his wife Tammy of McKinney,

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Wright and Pearl Wilson; wife Vernice Wilson; sons, Kevin “Cody” Wilson; granddaughter, Jaclyn Whittington; brother, Edward Dale Wilson; sister, Patsy Gene Wilson.
