Mr. Jimmie “Jim” Cook

Cremation services for Mr. Jimmie “Jim” Cook, 76, of Overton are under direction of Rader Funeral Home. Mr. Cook passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at his residence in Overton. There are no services scheduled at this time.

Jimmie was born on July 17, 1942 in Kilgore, Texas. He was the son of the late Charley Cook and Daisy Hadaway. Mr. Cook served in the US Air Force and owned and operated Cook Computers and Electronics. He was a loving and caring husband, father, brother and grandfather who will be missed by all that knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Phillis Ann Wulf.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Cook of Overton; Daughters, Becky Lockwood of Hallsville and Cyndi Duncan and Talisa Hancock of Kilgore; sister, Vikki Lee of Overton; brother in law, Rick and Shelly Grant of Euless, Texas; grandchildren, Christopher Falco of Tyler, Brittany Falco of Longview and Chase Falco of Hallsville; and nephew, Thomas Vinson of Sanger, Texas.
