Jerry Mack Monday

Funeral services for Mr. Mack Monday, 81, of Kilgore will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 4:00 P.M. in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Darwood Galaway and Reverend Shawn Heatherly officiating. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at the Panola/Mt. Zion Cemetery in Panola County near DeBerry.

Mack was born on March 20, 1940, in Winnsboro and passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021, in Longview. He graduated high school in 1958 from Karnack High School and served in the United States Army. Mack retired from Texas Eastman as a Shift Foreman after 30 years of employment. He was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. Mack enjoyed his ranch work on his property. He will be remembered as a hardworking and honest man.

Mack was preceded in death by his parents, Zelma and Charlie Monday; siblings, Beth Griffin, Jackie Acker, Norma Brooks, Buford Monday; brothers-in-law, Jesse Acker, Donnie Oden and Gene Oden.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Toby Oden Monday; brother, Charles “Tex” Monday and wife Sherri; sister-in-law, Blanche Monday, brothers-in-law, Joe Griffin, Harold Brooks; sisters-in-law, Mary Del Oden and Sandra Oden.
