Jeanne Lake Haire

Mrs. Jeanne Lake Haire,78, of Kilgore passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 22, 2021.

Jeanne was born on October 19, 1942 in Jacksonville, daughter of the late Quenton O’Neal and Texia Boswell Lake. She was a graduate of Jacksonville High School, where she was Homecoming Queen her senior year. Jeanne later attended and graduated from Lon Morris College. She was a freight rate clerk for several trucking companies, Red Ball, TP Motor Freight, and later retiring from ABF Freight Systems. Jeanne enjoyed playing the piano, she loved music, and was an excellent cook and loved entertaining. Jeanne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was most satisfied spending time with her family.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Michael Lake.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 51 years, Larry W. Haire of Kilgore; three children and their spouses; Leisa and Bob Graefe of Kilgore, Lori and Joel Daniel of Longview, and Jennifer Ellis and John of Wisconsin; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny, and Pam Lake of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Joey Hailey, Abbe, Ashtyn, Fisher, Aidyn, and Temperance; great-grandchild, Halynn; several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date
