Jean Tooker, 88, of Waco, completed her earthly journey on Monday, July 18, 2022, in Kilgore surrounded by her loving family. Cremation Arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.

Jean was born on October 9, 1933, in Rogers, Texas to Eloise Mills and James Tate. She graduated High School and continued her education completing numerous courses. Jean married the love of her life Charles Benjamin Tooker, Jr. on June 1, 1967. They shared 55 joyful years of marriage. She was very health conscious and enjoyed walking and running. Jean even worked at HOTCOG, The Heart of Texas Council of Government for a few years. She also worked as a docent at the Dr. Pepper Museum in Waco, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. Jean will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Charles Benjamin Tooker, Jr. of Waco, daughter, Sharon Staehs of Kilgore, granddaughter, Samantha Harris of Henderson, grandson, Tracy Bickel, great-granddaughter, Kyndall Grace Taylor of Henderson, brother, Glynn Tate of Mesquite, sister, Ann Albers of Waco, and other loving family members.

Jean was reunited with her parents, brother, Billy Tate, and son, Luke Stewart.
