Hector Torres

Mass for Christian Burial for Hector Torres, 51 of Kilgore will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Christ the King Catholic Church with Fr. John Heneo officiating. Burial will follow at Kilgore Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A rosary will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Visitation to follow rosary from 7:00 p.m. till 8:30 p.m.
Hector was born in San Antonio, Mexico to Venancio Torres and Maria Lara Leal. Hector worked in the oil and gas industry and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Kilgore and his family was the source of his happiness. Hector was a beloved father, brother, son, grandfather, and friend who will be missed by all that knew him.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Maria Guerrero of Liberty City, Yadira Wilks of Liberty City, Hector Torres, Jr. of Liberty City, Beba Torres of Liberty City, Ruby Torres of Liberty City and Yanet Torres of Liberty City; brothers, Jamie Torres of Kilgore, Juan Leal, Jr. of Austin and Evelio Torres of Kilgore; sister, Jesica Calvo of Austin; grandkids, Joselyn Guerrero, Stefani Guerrero, Azaleah Torres and Emily Torres; mother, Maria Lara Leal; father, Venancio Torres and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other loving family members.
