Gerald Wayne Cubine, Sr.

A Celebration of Life for Gerald Wayne Cubine, Sr., 86, of Kilgore, will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020, at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with Brother Tony Clark and Brother Archie Salyer officiating. Mr. Cubine completed his earthly journey on Saturday, October 10, 2020 in Kilgore surrounded by his family.
Gerald was born on July 15, 1934 in Vernon, Texas to the late Jess Cubine and Edna Williams. Mr. Cubine served in the US Army during the Korean War and a retired fireman from the Kilgore fire department. His family was the source of his strength and spending time with them was when he was happiest.
Mr. Cubine was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Cubine, daughter, Tammy Akin; sister, Judy Castleberry; brothers, Donald Cubine, Charles Cubine and Joe Cubine.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Debbie Isaacks of Arp, Sharon Whitfield and husband Jim of Rockwall and Jennifer Cubine and husband Ronnie Smith of Kilgore, Jerry Curbine and wife Karla of Kilgore; brother, Tommy Cubine and wife Brenda of New London; grandchildren, Jessica Baker , Jacob Isaacks, Zachary Isaacks, Gerald Cubine III, Kaleb Cubine, Alicen Aiken, J.R. Whitfield and Tadd Whitfield; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other loving family members.
