Services for Gaynell Hartsell McFadin, 72, of Kilgore will be held Tuesday, September
21, 2021, at ten o’clock in the morning at the Chapel of Rader Funeral home in Kilgore
with Reverend David Hampton officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, September
20, 2021, at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore, from six-thirty until eight
o’clock in the evening. Gaynell Hartsell McFadin ended her earthly journey on
September 14, 2021, in Kilgore.

Gaynell Hartsell McFadin was born on March 29, 1949, to Mack Hartsell and Ardeth
Hayes Ewing in Vivian, Louisiana. She grew up alongside her two siblings Mack and
Sandy. After graduating high school Gaynell continued her education though a variety of
college courses. Gaynell had a successful career and spent the majority of it as an
administrator. Mrs. McFadin's source of happiness was her family. She adored spending
time with her siblings, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren along with other
loving family members. Gaynell had a soft spot in her heart for animals and had many
beloved pets throughout her life. She was a joy to spend time with and will be truly
missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Mack Hartsell of Conroe, and Sandy Johnson
of Royce City, children, Michele Denise Fesenbek and husband Gary Fesenbek of
Melissa, Dennis Truit McFadin Jr. and wife Barbie Langford of Longview, Ardeth Gayle
Allred and husband Kevin Allred of Alaska, Heather Rae Logston and husband Trent
Logston of Kilgore, grandchildren, Stephen Wagner and wife Alania Wagner of Bend
Oregon, Jacob Wagner and wife Casie Wagner of Salt Lake City, Utah, Aaron Wagner of
Carrollton, Waylon McFadin and wife Katie McFadin of Longview, Wyatt McFadin of
Longview, Laney Wyatt and Austin Wyatt of New Caney, Michael Hampton of Kilgore,
Chase Hampton of Kilgore, Caleb Logston of Kilgore, eight great-grandchildren, and
numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other caring family members.

Gaynell was reunited with her parents, Mack Hartsell and Ardeth Hayes Ewing.
