Dustin Switzer

A Celebration of the Life of Dustin Switzer, 25, of Overton, will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at 2 pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore, with Rev. Erik Switzer officiating. Interment will follow in the Pinecrest Cemetery in Troup. Dustin completed his earthly journey on Sunday, December 13, 2020, in Rusk County. Dustin has been entrusted to the care of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.

Dustin was born on February 27, 1995, in Addison to Craig Switzer and Ann Switzer (Grantham). He is a member of the Kilgore High School Class of 2013. Dustin had a very strong work ethic and was an x-ray technician for Marco Inspection Services of Kilgore. When Dustin was not working, he enjoyed hunting ducks and hogs, fishing, skeet shooting and riding four-wheelers. His family and friends were the source of his strength and joy. He was happiest when he was with them. Dustin will be greatly missed and forever loved by all of those whose lives that he has touched.

Dustin was reunited with his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Left to cherish is memory are his parents, Craig Switzer and stepmother Karen of Benbrook, Ann Grantham and stepfather Steven of Overton and sister, Holly Switzer of Overton. Also, to carry on his legacy are numerous cousins, friends, and other loving family members.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 5 until 7 in the evening.
