DONNA FAY FRANKLIN

Donna Fay Franklin, 71, of Kilgore went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 23, 2019. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. The family will hold a memorial at a later date.

Donna Fay was born on April 9, 1947, in Cape Girardeau, MO, to Albert and Oma Goehman. She held a bachelor’s degree in accounting and worked as an administrative assistant. Donna Fay was a longtime member of Grace Baptist Temple in Kilgore. Serving the Lord and sharing her faith was her highest priority. Her family, especially her grandbabies, were the source of her strength and spending time with them was when she was happiest. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting and jogging.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Timothy Franklin and wife Cheryl of Kilgore, Melvin Franklin and wife Camille of Orange, Daniel Franklin and wife Karla of Weatherford; grandchildren, Cedadrian Franklin, Melvin Franklin IV, Sydney Franklin, Kennedy Franklin, Jordan Franklin, Caitlyn Franklin, Daniel Franklin, JR., Jackson Franklin, Amelia Franklin; sister, Judy Dewrock and husband Bill of Michigan. Also, left to carry on her legacy are numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other loving family members.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband David Franklin, six sisters and one brother.
