Don Edward Liles, 75, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at his home in Holly Lake Ranch, Texas.
Don is remembered with love by his wife Jimmie Kaye Liles; daughter and son-in-law, Melhaine and Barry Gresham; grandchildren, Marissa and Jonathan Gresham; daughter-in-law, Dauna Mays and his entire Propps step-family. Don was preceded in death by his first wife Sue; mother, Lois; father, Comer and his son Brian.
Born July 26, 1943 in Snyder, Texas. Don spent his early years all over West Texas, graduating from Canyon High School in 1961. Don attended college at West Texas State University where he joined the US Naval reserves. He spent seven years in the US Navy and served on the U.S.S. Topeka as a Quartermaster during the Vietnam War. Don worked at Martin Gas in Kilgore, Texas for 18 years before retiring to Holly Lake Ranch in 2005.
Don had a love for the outdoors, was an avid hunter, and was a passionate bass fisherman belonging to multiple Bass Clubs across East Texas.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel in Longview with Chaplain Jim Cook officiating.
