Diane Waits

Services for Mrs. Diane Waits, 72, of Kilgore will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 28, 2022, from 6:00 – 7:30 P.M. Diane passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022, in Kilgore.

Diane was born on March 12, 1950, in Gurdon, Arkansas. She retired as the assistant to the Food Service Manager at Kilgore Independent School District, where she had been employed for 24 years. Sharon’s faith was strong, and she loved her Lord and her family.

She was preceded in death by her father who died when she very young, Creason Herrington; her mother and stepfather, Dorothy and Raymond Danvers; brother, Carwain Herrington.

Diane is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ralph Waits of Kilgore; sons, Jason Waits of Kilgore, and Kevin Waits and wife Cydney of Lindale; grandchildren, Judson and Ellie; brother, Keith Danvers of Kilgore; nephew, Creason Herrington; nieces, Gladene Clark and Dorothy Danvers; along with other family and friends.
