Constance “Connie” LeCrone Wood Landreth

Funeral services for Constance “Connie” LeCrone Wood Landreth, 87, of Terrell, formerly of Kilgore will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with Father Daniel Dower officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Connie completed her earthly journey on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, in Terrell.

Connie was born on January 14, 1935, in Shreveport, LA, to William and Martha Bentley. She worked as a Dietary Supervisor in many long-term care facilities prior to her retiring. Connie enjoyed camping, reading, playing cards, bingo and talking walks. Connie was a recovering alcoholic and attended several Alcoholic Anonymous groups in the East Texas area for 38 years. She was a sponsor to several people in the program and was always willing to help others and share the message of hope and healing.

Connie was reunited with her parents, husbands Eddie LeCrone, Jr., Bill Wood, Bobby Landreth, grandson Jessie LeCrone, and great-grandson John Elliott.

Connie left to cherish her memory her children, Eddie LeCrone, III of Denton, Sonja Hay of Alba, Mickey LeCrone, and his wife Diane of Sandyhook, MS, Martha Boyd of Terrell; godsons, John Golub, James Golub, Ben Golub nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; special friends, Jerry and Cindy Parsons, and the Golub family, . Also, left to carry on her legacy are numerous nieces, nephews, AA friends, and other loving family members.
