CINDY JANELLE CLINE
Cindy Janelle Cline, 47, of Kilgore, went into the arms of our Lord, August 6, 2019, after a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Cindy was born November 6, 1971, in Longview. She attended Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, Texas, where she received her Certificate of Completion. Afterward, she returned to Kilgore to live with her parents. She attended Dayhab with her peers and friends.
Cindy enjoyed working on latch hook, jigsaw puzzles, crafts, playing games on her tablet and shopping. She loved spending time with her family. She was always so excited during the holidays, birthdays or any occasion that involved family. Cindy had a special relationship with her brother Jason and beamed with joy whenever she saw him. Although Cindy was older, she considered him her “big brother” and loved him dearly. Everyone that met Cindy loved her. She was a social butterfly, never met a stranger, gave the best hugs and her smile would light up a room. Cindy was a true blessing to her family and everyone that knew her. She was an example of God’s love.
Cindy is survived by her parents, Michael and Susan (Forth) Atkins of Kilgore, brother Jason Hooten (Rachel) of Kilgore, brother Patrick Jimerson (Caitlyn) of Kilgore, sisters Stina and Veronica Herrera of Nacogdoches, grandmother Dorothy Forth of Kilgore, grandfather Wayne L. Atkins of Houston, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Fred Forth, uncle David Forth and grandmother Nell Atkins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with Rev. David Hampton officiating. Burial will be in the Danville Cemetery following the service. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 8, 2019, at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.
Pallbearers will be Jason Hooten, Caleb Hooten, Adam Hooten, Nathan Hooten, Patrick Jimerson and Steve Forth.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to all of the staff at Hospice of East Texas.
“We will always carry you in our hearts my precious child.”
