BRUCE ALLEN BROYLES, SR.

Graveside services for Bruce Allen Broyles, 76 of Kilgore will be 1 pm Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Kilgore Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Brother Robert Morgan, Jr. officiating under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Mr. Broyles passed away on May 10, 2019 in Longview, Texas.

Bruce was born June 14, 1942 in Reed City, Michigan to the late Ed Walker and Louise Allen. He served in the US Air Force and worked as a mechanic for East Texas Saltwater Disposal for 32 years before retiring in 1999. After retirement, he worked for Kilgore ISD for four years. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and was an avid Kilgore Bulldog Football fan. Bruce will be missed by all that knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter; Shena Lynn Pepper, brother; Doug Strickland, and twin sister, Nancy Bell.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Shirley Broyles of Kilgore; sons, Bruce Broyles, Jr. of Kilgore, Tommy Broyles and wife Tyann of Kilgore, James Robinson of Kilgore and John Kincaid of Kilgore; daughters; Michelle Clark of Kilgore, Sonya Brown of Kilgore, and Tonya Pepper of Kilgore; sister, Molly Fears of Longview and brother, Norman Strickland of Colony, TX; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family members and friends.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.
