BOBBYE J. HEARELL

Services at the graveside for Bobbye J. Hearell, 95, of Nacogdoches, formerly of Kilgore, will be held at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, in Danville Cemetery, with Dale Hearell officiating. Mrs. Hearell completed her earthly journey on Saturday, December 24, 2022, in Nacogdoches. There will be no public viewing nor visitation held for Mrs. Hearell.

Bobbye was born on August 13, 1927, in Haynesville, Louisiana to Shulah Keeton Greene and Janie Stewart. She was a graduate of Sabine High School and Kilgore College. She married the love of her life Seabron E. Hearell in 1947 and they shared twenty-nine years together before his passing. After moving to Sherman, she went back to college at Austin College. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 1962. Bobbye later finished her master’s degree in administration from Stephen F. Austin University. She was the director of special education for Kilgore Independent School District for thirty-nine years. Retiring from a legacy of forty years of service to the special education community. She was a lifelong citizen of the Kilgore and Danville community. Bobbey enjoyed staying current on the events and lives of her countless friends in East Texas. She kept her phone by her side if it was not in her hand checking in on her loved ones. Bobbey was a cherished member of the Kilgore community and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Hearell is survived by her son Dale Hearell of Nacogdoches.

Bobbey was preceded in death by her parents Shulah and Janie Greene, husband Seabron E. Hearell, son Duane E. Hearell, siblings, Frances Greene, John Phillip Green, Keeton Greene Jr., Billy Greene, Mary Jane Greene, and Jimmy Greene.
