Bill Speer

Cremation services for Billy Speer, 87, of Kilgore are under the direction Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Mr. Speer passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 in Kilgore.
Billy was born on January 7, 1933 in Normangee, Texas to the late Travis Harland Speer and Effie Jane Ellison. Mr. Speer served in the US Army and worked as a supervisor for Texas Eastman. Billy was a member of the Masonic Danville Lodge #101 and enjoyed hunting, fishing and enjoyed working with wildlife as wildlife rehabilitator.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Latane Speer.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years, Joyce Speer of Kilgore; son Billy “Biff” Speer, Jr. of Kilgore; daughter, Kelli Speer of Kilgore; brother, Bobby Speer of Kilgore and two grandchildren as well as other loving family members.
