Arthur Ezra “Skip” Holleman

Burial for Mr. Arthur Ezra “Skip” Holleman, 76, of Ore City, will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022, at eleven o’clock in the morning at Talco Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022, from six till eight o’clock in the evening, at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Skip completed his earthly journey on Monday, August 29, 2022, in Ore City.

Skip was born on October 28, 1945, in Deport, Texas to Mildred Swarts and Joseph Weldon Holleman. He spent his early years in Talco, Texas and later attended Kilgore schools. Skip served his country honorably as a Medic in the Air Force; after which, he worked a variety of jobs and retired from East Texas Saltwater. He loved playing the guitar and drums and spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and trapping.

He is survived by his daughter, Anna L. Holleman of Midland, MI; nephew Ricky Holleman (DeAnn) of Lake Cherokee; niece Rhonda Foster (Tony) of Waskom; niece Rene’ Marler (Clif) of Kilgore and other loving friends and family members.

Skip was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Richard Holleman.
