ALVIN HAROLD YANDELL

Celebration of Life Services for Harold Yandell, 94, of Diana, Texas will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Trinity Assembly of God in Kilgore, Texas with Rev. Roger Hoffpowier officiating. Mr. Yandell passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 in Longview.

Mr. Yandell was born March 13, 1925 in Malvern, Arkansas to the late Garland Yandell and Mary Lena Nugent. Harold was a member of Trinity Assembly of God in Kilgore. He worked as a framing carpenter until his retirement. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Harold was a loving and caring husband, father, brother and grandfather who will be missed by all that knew him.

Mr. Yandell was preceded in death by his son, Harold Wayne Yandell in 2011; one brother and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Helen Yandell of Diana, Texas; sons, James Edward Reed and wife Virginia of Beckville, Texas and Jeffrey Lynn Reed and wife Michelle of Tyler; daughter, Nora Denice Rogers and husband Kenneth of Ore City, Texas; sisters, Bernice McDonald of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Martha Roark and husband Tony of Malvern, Arkansas; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
