ALEX SNYDER
A Celebration of Life visitation for Alex Snyder, 29, of Kilgore will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 6 until 8 in the evening in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. The family will hold a final ride and Celebration of Life service at a later date. Alex completed his earthly journey on Monday, April 15, 2019, in Smith County following a motorcycle accident.
Alex was born on August 5, 1989, in Longview to Marlena Snyder and Michael Wayne White, Jr. He was a man that was loved by everyone with whom he came into contact. Alex lived his life to the fullest, he enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, mudding, playing pool, video games, cooking and working on cars. His family, especially his children, were the source of his strength and spending time with them was when he was happiest.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Marlena Snyder of Kilgore, Michael Wayne White, Jr of Liberty City; children, Kamden, Lauralai and Alistair Snyder all of Kilgore; siblings, Joshua Snyder and Angelycia Snyder both of Kilgore; grandparents, Clara Snyder of Kilgore, who played such an influential and important role in Alex’s life; Michael Wayne White, Sr. and his wife Teri of Hallsville, Paula White of Liberty City; aunts and uncles, McKinnon White of Kilgore, Cutter White of Kilgore, Julie Langley and husband Justin of Kilgore, DeWayne Snyder and wife Lisa of San Antonio, Angela Guynn of Liberty City, Heather Young of Hughes Springs; best friends, Kayla Wehunt of Austin, Zachary Johnson of Hallsville, Jody Madding of Kilgore, Trevor Walker of Kilgore and Buddy Wayne Robinson, Jr. of Kilgore. Also left to carry on his legacy are numerous cousins, friends and other loving family members.
Alex was preceded in death by his grandfather David R. Snyder and uncle Steven Keith Snyder.
Alex will be available for viewing at the funeral home on Friday, April 19, 2019 after 1 pm until 8 pm and from 8am until the conclusion of the visitation on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the fund set up for his children at First Convenience Bank, 1201 Stone St., Kilgore, TX 75662.
