Yvonne, Dwight, Mike and D'Ann. James and I werre friends for over 50 years. I know you will miss him, as he was probably the finest gentlemen I ever had the pleasure of knowing. I always enjoyed visiting with him about many topics from sports to currenty events. I know you have many fond memories to carry you through this difficult time. I had the pleasure of knowing all three of the Kennedy brothers.

D'Ann: My thoughts are with you in this moment of loss - I am saddened by the death of your father as it only brings closer to home the reality that we are only here but a microcosim of time in the grand scheme of things - that we have such a short time on this earth to make a difference in other people's lives - to leave a mark to let others know we were here...I can only hope that we can say that we lived our lives with the same grace, elegance, and humanity with which your father lived his. Love, Caterina Venitucci

The only way I can ever seem to address Coach Kennedy is just that - Coach Kennedy. He was my coach throughout Junior High from 1957-60 in football and basketball. His patient and gentle spirit had a way of getting the most out of all of boys he coached. His spirit on the field as he coached reflected the love he had for God. He exhibited his Christian faith in all that he did - not just on Sunday. Next to my father, Coach Kennedy probably made the greatest impact on my life and I have the greatest respect and admiration for him and the life he lived.
