Jean Keys Guestbook

Jeanie Cleary Fifer

I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Keys' passing. I have fond memories of her, and your whole family as our neighbors on Broadway. It was a nice surprise to run into her at the Kilgore Hospital a couple of years ago. My mother and sisters said her service was lovely. My condolences, Jeanie Cleary Fifer

Dear Keys family, I was so saddened to hear about your mother's death. I have such wonderful memories of her. I guess one of my favorites has to be her making those bisquits from scratch. She was such a wonderful cook, but an even more loving person. The picture in the paper really does look like her, always smiling. I don't think there could be a much more loving mother. I wish that I had the chance to tell her how fun it was growing up close to your family. Running around the creek all day in the summer are some of my favorite "growing -up "memories. I send my love to you all. I wish that I could be there for the funeral, but know that she will be remembered and loved.

It's been a pleasure knowing Mrs. Keys.. I want the family to know how much this very kind lady means to me..I was one of the staff at Heartway Hospice that made sure this precious lady was seen daily. I was in Colorado on vacation when I found out she had passed..Please know that my prayers are with the family at this time of sorrow. Violet

I had known Jean since childhood, but had not seen her since we left Kilgore in 1989. I always thought she was one of the finest women I had the pleasure of knowing. My thoughts are with you. Hello to Windell.
