My wife and I along with our two children Eric and Leslie have been Neil's neighbors for the last 2 years. I will miss our conversations and him shouting "hey neighbor" from across the yard. We are grateful that he was such a good neighbor and welcomed us to Kilgore with open arms. He will truly be missed.

You seldom saw "Harry Neil" that he didn't have a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. You just waited to see what quip he was about to spout. It was usually funny. His dedication to family and community was unwavering. He will be missed. Prayers of comfort for his family and loved ones.

Neil and I started out in "Mrs. Devereaux"s third grade class at Kilgore Heights and graduated from KHS in 1955. Many years later it was fun to see him again after I retired to Kilgore. His sense of humor was still intact and seemed to aways remind you not to take yourself too seriously. We'll miss him!

I've known Neil for many years...all through our school days including Kilgore College and NT. Many memories of my Rangerette days and Neil being a manager. I've enjoyed renewing our friendship after living out of state for many years and returning to Kilgore. I will miss his quick wit, pleasing personality and telling it like it is! Prayers to his family.

I met Neil when he came to work for the city under the senior citizen program. His smile, humor and his honest opinion is what will always be instilled in my heart forever. He'd let me know when I was wrong (wish I had listened better because he was wise and right ) Before I left Kilgore I wish I could have told him I was sorry for the bad choices I made. Neil you will alway remind me to get it right. Love you forever !
