Charles Bradley Roberts Guestbook

Evan Davidson

As with the last Guest entry I was a neighbor of Mr.Charles.
He was the coolest, nicest and most knowledgable mechanical guy I ever knew and had a funny since of humor.I use to smell his bar-be-q pit from down the street and many times walked over to see him outside with a beer and a smile and a welcome hand to join him for a bit.
He fixed many of my old vehicles and saved me much money and headaches while asking not to get paid but to get him some smokes, ice cream or perhaps alittle car gas.
Mr.Charles also use to bring home many kinds of delicious vegetables grown from gardens of his friends in Hornbeck.
The"wild hot"peppers were the Best.I think my most vivid memories also are when we went out to U-Pull-it for used car parts and he'd help me pick out and get the ones I needed and had all the tools to remove them-what a blessing that was.He also gave me countless rides to the store when my car was not up to it and good advice even when I didn't think I needed it.I met his son,Brandon last year and just want him to know how SPECIAL his Dad was.
Mr.Charles is in Heaven and his Happiness Shines there.

I knew him for about seven years. He was a very good man, with a kind heart. He would stop to help anyone at any time and never wanted anything in return. He had a peculiar sense of humor which made him fun to chat with. When he found out that he had cancer, he never let it get him down. He continued to stay upbeat and optimistic. He never cursed or complained about what I’m sure was intense pain. I think the Lord decided to take him early, unexpectedly, and instantly, to avoid what I’m sure would have been a long painful battle. He is in a good place now, and without pain.
I pray that God will look down on his soul and welcome him into Heaven, where he can praise & glorify Our Lord, for eternity. Amen.

Charles was my neighbor and the best neighbor I have ever had. Charles was a man who took care of everyone around him, he could make you laugh and turn any situation into a positive one. He always looked out for me and the people he loved. He had a pure soul and only saw the good in everyone. He love Anime, technology and his beloved dog Pica. He would have given his shirt off of his back for any one he knew. I know now he is no longer in pain, he is walking with God in the streets of heaven and watching over us. Great man, who will be extremely missed by his family and friends. RIP Charles wish you could have see. The snow here buddy you would have called me at 2AM to tell me to wak dip to go outside and see it! You saw the beauty in life and I will forever keep you in my heart as I go through life. You will never be forgotten . Love your friend, Kami and Rusty. I miss you 😘

John and Tena Yeary

Tena and I had the privilege of working with Charles at Regional Medical in Alexandria, Louisiana. He was one of those co-workers who you could always count on. He would do anything you asked at any time, with a smile on his face. His struggles were difficult and long, but he accepted them with grace and courage. May the coffee in Heaven always be hot and never-ending! You will be missed.

I'm so glad that Charlie reached out to me on Facebook after so many years. Being able to support him through the trials and tribulations of this past year meant a lot to me. He fought valiantly and suffered a lot. Now, through a bizarre car accident, God has ended his suffering. I miss him already and pray for him and his family. May we meet again my sweet friend.
