Joe Murphy Guestbook

Robert John McLucas

I knew Joe and his family when living in Brightmoor Michigan, first meeting Joe and his brother Danny back in 1960 when I went to Harding Elementary passing their house each day of school. I knew nothing of his cancer January until now after his death in September 21. I spoke with him just before he died with him not mentioning his condition. I so sorry for his family and wish I had visited him before his passing. He was a integral witness to American history and to a Dark side of American politics.. Till then Joe. R.J.McLucas

We will always be grateful for Joe’s kindness and for his being a caring neighbor to our dad, Sam Bewley. (Dee too!) And after dad passed, Joe continued to help us with his home. Joe was a good friend and good man. Our thoughts are with his family.
