You will truly be missed. You made Psychology so fun, even to this tired sleepy student who came to your class after working night shift. Hope you are making the angels laugh.

Becca, Cheryl, Tyler, and Mariah,

We are so saddened to hear of Dr. Williams passing. Having met him only a few times, there was no doubt he was a loving father, husband, and grandfather. I know he will be sorely missed. Our prayers go out to you.

We sure will miss Dr Williams inthe neighborhood. Going outside to work in the yard was entertaining when I got to talk with Rob. He always had something funny to say and I enjoyed our visits. God bless the Williams family.

I do agree with all of the compliments on Rob as a teacher. I had him at U.T. Tyler for the sociology class that was required for all education majors. He did make it very interesting while we learned much about the make-up of the United States. I am so sorry for your loss, Cheryl and Becca. My prayers are with you and all of his family who will miss him.

I will so miss Rob at Kilgore College. He sang down the halls and made instrument noises everyday, often exclaiming, "Welcome to Kilgore College!" to random passersby. The halls will be a lot less musical and humorous without him, but his upbeat and comical spirit will remain.

I write this with a heavy heart and would like to convey my condolences and appreciation of "Becca's Dad"('s) life. I count it one of my many blessings to have known him and to say I was one of is many adoring students, groupie really. He had the ease of reaching each student no matter the inability or ineffectiveness one might think they have....he had a knack to reach us all. His heart was as huge as his depth was for compassion! I never knew him to be mad, upset, angry or show wrath; however, I would never want to be on the receiving end of one of his "last nerve" days. He always had a spring in his step and slight giggle in his manner. He was always smiling or found something to make him and others around him smile.
I will always remember the Great Pineapple Incident of 1992, when Becca and I thought we could make drinks and his hilarious outcry of a mess and brought us all to tears in laughter. The many, many nights I stayed the night and would happen to hear him sing and talk to himself. The many band concerts, football games and various outings throughout high school and college. The time Becca broke her leg and I had a car wreck and him thinking we were a toxic bunch. The many parties y'all would have for us crazy kids. HOURS of homework help and tutoring.
He always has the incredible ability to make others laugh and spin anything to his advantage. He would win you over with his calm and reasoning voice.
I am so sorry I could not be there today. I am certain y'all would not appreciate sharing my virus. My heart continues to go out to you and your family in the coming days when the proverbial dust settles, and you start the new normal. Prayers for strength, courage and understanding. Much love you, and especially my Becca, oh how I have missed her, and the rest of your beautiful family.
Love, love, love you all!!!
