Services for Eva Herod, 48, of Liberty City will be ten a.m., Friday, April 27, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Liberty City with the Reverend Bruce Wells and Ronn Herod officiating. Graveside services will be two p.m. in the Parker Cemetery, Grapeland, Texas. Mrs. Herod died Tuesday, April 24, 2007 in Tyler, Texas.
She was born June 11, 1958 in Palestine, Texas. Eva graduated from Palestine High School. She was an accountant who worked for had worked for Otis Engineering, PABCO and Astro Air. Eva was a member of First Baptist Church Liberty City.
Mrs. Herod is survived by her husband, Terry Herod of Liberty City; daughter, Amy Taylor of Palestine; son, Josh Herod of Liberty City; step-son, Ronn Herod of Springfield, Missouri; step-daughter, Jodi Herod of Bryan, Texas; parents, Joe and Linda Magallanez of Palestine, Texas; two sisters, Teresa Smith and Elisa Morgan of Palestine; brother, Joe Magallanez, Jr. of Palestine, Texas; three grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Thursday evening between six and seven-thirty p.m.
