Frieda Roever Kulak

 

Graveside services for Mrs. Frieda Roever Kulak, 91, of Kilgore will be held 2:00 P.M.  Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Mr. Joe Booth officiating.

 

Frieda was born December 22, 1915 in Apache, Oklahoma to George and Iva Suggs Roever. The family moved to Longview in 1931. Mrs. Kulak went to BMI in Longview and attended Kilgore College.  She retired from Petrolite Corp.  She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church and a 50-year member, and past matron of the Order of Eastern Star.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Eddie; an infant son David; a sister and her husband Lolita, and Carl Aldridge; sister-in-law Muriel Kulak.

 

She is survived by a sister and her husband, Betty and Lonnie Phillips of Salado, Texas; brother and his wife, George and Jeanne Roever of Denton, Texas; special friend Malcolm Warren of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; two nieces and their families, Kathy and Dr. John Tunnell of Corpus Christi, Texas; Carla and David Barnett of Portland, Texas; three nephews and families, Glenn and Tammy Farris of Odem, Texas; Steve and Chris Phillips of New Braunfels, Texas; Mike and Debbie Phillips, Lindale, Texas; and a precious sister-in-law Cetrue Linohan of Kilgore, Texas.
