James Dwight Kennedy Guestbook

I was a teacher for Mr. Kennedy at Kilgore Heights. I have worked for several principals over the years and I always compared them with Mr. Kennedy as a role model. He was kind, understanding and truly dedicated to his students and staff. We were proud to have the T-shirt "Mr. Kennedy's Kids" made in his honor. My deepest sympathies go to his family.

Yvonne and family, I am so sorry about your loss. My Mom, Ruth Reid, thought the world of both you and "Mr. Kennedy", as she called him. She also referred to you as "Mrs. Kennedy". At this sad time, may it help to know how many hearts are touched by your loss, how many thoughts are with you and your family. May the Lord bless and keep all of you safe and the memories of your loved one ease the pain. Roy & Hazel Reid Brown

Mr. Kennedy was my very first principal, many many years ago at Kilgore Heights. I remember him as kind and caring. He touched the lives of so many students in Kilgore. What a rare life... to positively impact the future for so many kids. My sincerest condolences to you, his family.
