I remember Mrs. Leak from when I worked at Region VII in the 80's. She was the most professional yet the nicest, sweetest person I have ever known. May God' s grace and love be sufficient in your great time of need.

Mrs. Leak was the most refined lady I've ever known. Working with her at Region 7 ESC was a pleasure especially with the AEOP organization. My prayers are with her family as they deal with their loss. She will always be remembered as the most kind, sweet and considerate person. I will miss her.

I had the great pleasure of working with Essie Mae at the East Texas Film Library from 1950-1952. She was such a kind, generous person who loved her family and was considerate of all those in which she came in contact. I was just a junior college student but she always treated me as an equal. I have many fond memories of the two years in which I saw her daily. You should be very proud to be her children and family
