Jack and I are saddened by the death of your son and brother. I know that he will be greatly missed. Chris, Zac, and Cody.....I know how close you were to Matt; I can't even imagine what you must be feeling at this sad time. I'm so sorry for your loss. We are all thinking and praying for you. I'm not sure that Chris will be able to come in from San Marcos--Matt plans to attend the funeral with several of his friends. Cindy and Jack Miller

We send our deepest sympathies to each of Matt's loving family members. We have such fond memories of Matt during his years in Plano. He was always so cheerful and always greeted our family with his beautiful smile and warm hello. Matt always made a point to stop and talk with our boys and play with them too. I remember that our Clayton use to come home after the Plano Wildcat games and have us put up a play mat so he could run through it like a football player running through the banner; he would say "I am Matt Reed!". Matt was a blessing to this world and will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by each of us. We are praying for all of you during this time. All our love, Stoney, Leslie, and the boys

On behalf of the entire Austin College Football Family, I want to extend my deepest sympathies to the entire family of Matt Reed. This includes not only his immediate family, but his team mates and coaches he played with and for. We all feel a tremendous loss. Having the opportunity to serve as Matt's coach and mentor was truly a blessing. Like all the players I have had the great opportunity to be around, Matt made me a better man and positivley impacted my life. Thank you Matt...I love you and will miss you. ROSS FOREVER!!
