I just received very late news of Mr. VanMeter's passing. For the brief time I knew him I always found him to be a very friendly and hard working person who was looked up to by his family. He will be missed. Saturday, December 08, 2007

Hi all of my sweet cousins. I just wanted to tell you all again how sorry I am for your loss and that I really loved my Uncle Frank and will miss that smile till I see it again someday. Please know if you need anything ever that I am here. We are family and that is what we are here for...to help each other make it down here! Please email me when you have time. I took a few pics at funeral and while they may be sad now to see in the future those that we leave behind will treasure them. I took them at cem. I Love You ALL...

Mr. Frank was a fine man. I loved him when I was a child and I came to respect and admire him as I became a mature adult. After his beloved wife, Billie, required advanced care outside of their home, he was a faithful and attentive husband, sitting with her each day. He and my Dad renewed their friendship in later years. He came to Mom and Dad’s home and visited for long periods, often. I was privileged to have been able to reunite with him there. When Dad passed away in January 2006, he checked on Mother until he knew we had her successfully situated for her continued care and comfort. He was a good man; he will be missed. I trust his children, grandchildren and other loved ones have some of the wonderful stories of his life to comfort them during this time. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
