I am really blessed to have had Micheal has my Father-in-Law. He was a very GOOD man.

I admired his content with what the Lord provided for him and his family. He put his family first, as he did not seek wealth, but was a provider.

Also, instead of wealth, he sought knowledge (Spiritual too).
Example: Over the years, I would watch him take interest in a hobby, study and master the subject. Once it was understood, he would find another interest.

It was his humble pursuit to learn, that really breaks my heart of his last years of him trying to remember the simplest things.

On a positive note, I have fond memories of when we went to "Promise Keepers", which during our weekend adventure, I asked for his daughter's (Karen) hand in marriage.

Another memory is when he took our son (Joshua) in the back yard and taught him on how to shoot a BB Gun. Joshua still remembers those days.

Of course there are MANY other examples, which have more of an impact to peoples lives than the few I listed above.

Most importantly, he loved the God and the Lord Jesus by honoring Him thru his daily walk.

Micheal will be missed, but it is SO good to know that we will see him again.

I hope I can strive to be a man of his character.

Love you Dad!
